AJ Lambert – Music Together®
AJ Lambert is a stay-at-home mom who lives in Los Feliz with her husband and daughter. Previously she was a bass player and singer in many bands while living in New York, which is where she also enjoyed a career as a music supervisor and coordinator for films. Some highlights of her varied performance and recording career include her stints with the band Rocket, Here We Go Magic, and a reunion/reforming of The Homosexuals, the iconic English punk band. She also had an original song placed in an episode of The Sopranos during her New York tenure. Having a child has opened AJ’s eyes to the joys of sharing her love of music with other children. Music Together’s ethos of nurturing kids’ innate musical instincts is something she is very excited to be a part of.
Sheila is a guitarist and has been a songwriter and performer for the past 20 years in Los Angeles and the East Coast. She has been a registered Music Together teacher for ten years and loves bringing the joy of making music to families. Sheila’s mom was a music together teacher and Sheila has taken the program with her own son, when he was a little tot. Before Music Together she studied art and animation as well as owned and operated her own retail floral business. She lives in Glendale with her 5 year old son, a little white dog and a black cat. Sheila is thrilled to bring her experience and love of music to the families at Dragonfly DuLou!

With extensive training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Improvisation and African dance from the Newport School of Ballet, University of Oregon, and Stites Performing Arts Center in Portland, Michelle embarked on her teaching career in 2000 as a Creative Movement teacher for children ages 3-12. Her enthusiasm and talent for working with children and sharing her love of dance has led her to teach in a variety of dance institutions and community centers and brought her to Dragonfly DuLou in 2008. We are thrilled to welcome back Michelle from a 6-month sabbatical in South America where she participated in a Spanish language intensive, backpacked through 5 countries, studied Argentine tango, and volunteered as a dance teacher!
Doula Educators- Two Doulas Birthing Class
Each of the Two Doulas Birth classes is taught by two of the “doula educators” in our collective. There are seven women in our group, each a birth doula and childbirth educator, each with a unique background and perspective on the birth process, meaning that each class series is a completely distinct and individual experience. Individually, we all have our own private doula businesses and then also work as a team to teach these classes, provide back up coverage for one another, as well as provide other related services (i.e. postpartum doula, lactation education, placenta encapsulation, etc.) to each other’s clients. Please go to www.twodoulasbirth.com to read more about the doula educators in our collective as well as the classes we offer.
